In addition to preparing riders to take the Advanced Test, our aim is to get the most out of motorcycling and enjoy a range of social and biking activities whilst improving our own riding skills.
DWDAM welcomes all riders who enrol on the IAM RoadSmart Advanced Rider Course (ARC) and meet the requirements of the IAM RoadSmart ARC Documents Declaration Form. Joining Full members are also welcome. We aim to help riders to have an atmosphere of friendship, respect and care for each other. Our approach is supported through the DWDAM Equality and Diversity Statement.
You may wish to join just to prepare for, and pass, the IAM RoadSmart Advanced Rider Test, but developing your motorcycling skills does not stop there. Most find that taking the test is just the start to really improving their riding skills, and enjoyment of motorcycling. DWDAM is dedicated to helping Associates to achieve the Test Standard and beyond, whether at a Group or National Level.
We have rides and social and training events throughout the year, and presentations on topics directly related to motorcyling during the winter months.
