Tyres & Suspension Events Evening – Wednesday 21st February 24
February 21 @ 19:00 - 22:00
Wednesday February 21st Tyres and Suspension evening at Dorchester Rugby Football Club 7pm start
Following on from the highly successful Puncture repair and Helite Vest event at DRFC last October, we are holding our next get together at DRFC on February 21st at 7 pm
This time it is on the subject of Tyres and Suspension.
These are both subjects that cause great debate amongst riders, but behind it all there is an entire industry dedicated to making bikes handle better.
Consequently, it is a real coup that we have been able to get two of the big names to come to talk to us for the evening!
Racelab is a well known local tuning specialist in Wimborne that sets up suspension for racebikes, both in the workshop and at race meetings, but also happily tunes roadbike suspension to specifically suit your requirements for a small charge
We all know that new bikes come aleady set up – but for whom? What is the “average” setting they use, and what is the difference between the suspension Modes on the latest bikes ?
These, and other questions about bike setup are what this team excel at, so we’re in for a treat hearing from people who really know their stuff and are willing to share their knowledge
After this, none of us will probably ever settle for recommended settings again!
And what better to follow the talk on suspension than to have Michelin tell us about the latest tyre technology?
Michelin spends more than €650m on R+D each year and is the world leader in fuel efficient tyres as well as the most successful manufacturer in the FIM (Federation International de Motocyclisme)
We are over the moon that Michelin will not only talk about modern type technology and maybe give us a glimpse of their latest developments, but also be on hand to answer the many questions we all have.
Between the two talks there will be a wonderful spread of finger food, and we also hope to introduce a very special guest……..!
So, come along for a great evening – it’s free!
