Very many congratulations to Steve Williams who passed his IAM RoadSmart Masters Test with Distinction; IAM RoadSmart Masters is the highest standard of civilian riding in the country.
To achieve a Masters Test Pass requires much hard work and considerable effort over an extended period. The Masters programme provides six one-to-one mentoring sessions working on all aspects of riding; an excellent knowledge of RoadCraft and the Highway code is expected.
The IAM RoadSmart Masters is a challenging standard, assessed through the 90 minute Masters Test on unfamiliar roads.
A Masters Distinction result is achieved by scoring 1 in all 27 areas of the test, (a maximum of two categories are permitted a score of 2 each but exclude Legality and Slow Manoeuvring which must score a 1).
