Brian Purnell, DWDAM’s Masters Mentor and Membership Training Co-Ordinator, has successfully requalified as a Masters Mentor, achieving a Masters Distinction in his re-assessment.

Robbie Downing, IAM Area Service Delivery Manager said "I have had the privilege of knowing Brian for several years and have conducted at least 5 previous assessments concerning his riding and observing skills. As expected, Brian has shown that he can ride at Masters Distinction level and deliver a knowledgeable and competent Observed session. His knowledge is first class and on behalf of IAM RoadSmart I can only thank him for the years of commitment, effort and time he has devoted to IAM RoadSmart and his local group in a number of committee roles."
As a Masters Mentor, Brian provides one-to-one mentoring support and guidance to prepare riders to take the Masters Assessment, the highest standard of civilian riding ability in the country.
Brian also leads the provision of Membership Training for DWDAM, where he can provide a Masters Taster Ride, and arrange for the delivery of assessment, training or preparation for DWDAM Group members to develop riding skills and take further IAM qualifications.
